Buenos Aires, Argentina---last day of the trip

Not sure why the police were out in front of city hall in riot gear.  Some suspected something was being voted on that might upset the general populace.  I suspect this is fairly common.

La Chacra is one of the best places in town for good  typical Argentine barbeque.  Danny had some of the best kid goat we've ever eaten.

The horse is real.  Make that...WAS real.

The local theater.

One of the world's most famous necropolises is in Recoleta in the heart of Buenos Aires.  Here there are literally thoroughfares and streets of mausoleums housing the Who's Who of Argentina.  Evita Peron is somewhere around here.  But after walking for an hour and a half I gave up trying to find her.

 Everything here from the sublime...

to the simple.

Finally, I had to try the barnacles.  They are huge and....

oh so delicious.  Tastes like a cross between sea urchin and scallops.
