Hurricane watch on. Biggest problem with rain makers here are the mudslides, so a small hurricane can do a lot of damage unlike other places (flat) where we've encountered them. Fifteen years ago Hurricane Marilyn destroyed 80% of the houses here and water and power were off for months. My apt. has been boarded up and there's no central a/c so I'm down at the CG station on a cot tonight.  It's no Holiday Inn, but at least I'll stop marinating for a while.
